Age Discount

• If the age of the insured is between 36 - 45 years, 5 % discount is provided on the Own Damage section of the policy
• If the age of the insured is more than 46 years,10 % discount is provided on the Own Damage section of the policy
• Choice of premium payment options - regular premium or a single one time premium
• Choice of taking the plan on a single life basis or a joint life (first claim) basis.

For availing the age discount, you need to submit age-proof viz. driving license copy.

In case of online policy, age-proof should be submitted at the time of claim.

Occupation Discount

An insured, pursuing any of the following occupations can avail a 5% discount on the Own Damage section of the policy:

• A fully qualified and practicing Chartered Accountant
• Serving in defense and paramilitary services
• Teaching in Government recognised schools, colleges, universities and educational institutions
• Employees of Central/State Government departments
• Qualified medical doctors who are registered with any Government recognised Medical Council

For occupation-related discounts, you need to submit either the education or employment certificate.
